Hand-bound diaries in vegetable-tanned, full-grain leather — sewn with waxed linen on acid-free paper so they lay flat and age with you. Made in small batches at our shop on Lal Ghat, Udaipur.

Vegetable-tanned leather
Full-grain buffalo and goat hides, tanned with plant extracts — the same approach used by serious leather journal makers worldwide. Natural scars and grain stay visible; we never use corrected grain or bonded leather.

Lay-flat sewn binding
Folded signatures stitched with waxed linen thread — kettle or Coptic-style sewing so the book opens flat on any spread. The spine is sewn, not merely glued, which is how most handmade journals are built to last.

Archival writing paper
Acid-free, cotton-rich sheets around 100gsm in a warm ivory tone. Sized for fountain pens, gel ink, and ballpoints — low bleed-through and minimal ghosting, like premium stationery brands specify.
